Hello, my name is Jordan Lamondue and I was born in Houston, Texas. I am 24 years old and currently attending my third year of studies at Texas State University. My chosen major is Digital Media Innovation due to my lifelong interest in technology and digital media. It has been quite a transition for me leaving Houston and moving to San Marcos, but as time passed by, Texas State and San Marcos became my new hometown.
Apart from college, there are several activities that I engage in on my free time such as cooking, watching football and listening to music. Out of all the hobbies that I have, cooking has become one of the activities I take quite seriously over the past few years. I have always been into football and been following it from an early age. Listening to music has been one of my constant companions regardless of what I do whether I drive, study or even sit idle.
My college life has been full of many memorable moments, but it has also allowed me to appreciate some of the simple things that take me back home. There have been instances where I missed my hometown of Houston, my family and all the familiarities of my pre-college days. The simple acts of cooking meals from home or watching a game of football in Houston can help me reconnect with home. It seems like growing up has helped me appreciate small and simple moments.
